Able to discount orders when paying by cash?

      Hi Olly. I’m using Stripe and as great as it is obviously there’s a fee when we do an order. Is there a way so that customers who place an order over a certain amount (say £10) get a discount on their order say for £0.50p? I would like this to be automatic on the cart rather than having to put a code in. Reason this is important for me is to save a lot of fees + tax issues lol. Cash payment is selected by default so it would be good if the discount is there from the start and when/if they choose Stripe the discount will disappear.

        of course (puzzled by the question as that was always there)
        wppizza->order setting -> discounts

        however, i suspect you want to have a discount only when paying cash.
        although most other gateways are implemented to be able to add a fee when using them (i.e the opposite way round, outcome being somewhat the same though), the way stripe works this is not really do-able at the moment I’m afraid

          PS: well, it would be doable by writing some jquery that reloads the page when (de)selecting stripe, setting some session variable or something (for example) and recalculating delivery /discounts using filters available (in thin case the ‘wppizza_filter_discount’ filter i would have thought).

            I would rather give a discount to customers when paying by cash as opposed to charging customers to pay by card (just a different way of doing things but it looks a lot nicer and I can say card transactions are free!).

              as mentioned, currently only by using the filter and some jQuery…might make that an option someday , but no ETA

                Ok. As you know from previous requests that is far beyond my ability so i’ll wait for a future update lol.
