Apart from using the extensions “Confirm|Reject|Notify.” which we also will be using.
Is there a way to make the order status visible to a registered customer?
We work with a short pre-order time for pick-up only. (mostly less then 1h)
Being able to see the status in for example a widget. Example message: “your last order has now status ….”
The client can do a refresh for an update.
This would be nice if it gets auto updated every x minutes (setting in backend?), but we would be already very satified if it would be visible to the customer.
For us only the last order would need to be visible and once it is picked up/delivered it doesn’t have to be visible anymore in say max 1h.
Or can this be done by using the order-id and manually filling this in (by the customer) in a widget to track the status for this order?
