Two emails / Double send problem

      I am using the “templates” feature to send an email’s to a gmail account.

      However in what seems to be a completely random pattern, it some times (from every other time to one in 10 times) “double sends” the emails. It sends two emails, one to the shop and one to the customer and when it does this “double send”, it does it for both of them.

      The order only appears one in the order history.

      I have had this issue for more than a year now, so I hope it’s something complicated… because [edited by admin: profanities in private replies only please, lol :)]..

      Please help.

        you really should be speaking to your host / email provider

        as it happens, and it’s completely un-wppizza related, every now and again my email client on my phone also decides to receive everything 2x . so it may not even be a host issue but an email client issue (with a screwed up popstate file for example)

          Hi Olly.

          Thank you for the quick reply.

          I am using mailgun to send and I am sending them to a gmail account. I have 5 gmail / google apps accounts and have never had a double sent or receive before. H

          However I am not using mailgun for anything else, so I will try writing their support and see if they have any suggestions for a solution or perhaps are familiar with the problem.

          However I also have google cloud print plugin in my WP-Pizza setup and as far as I can recall, when the email is double sent, the cloud print is also double printed. (I am not 100% on this but like 80% sure.)

          Will write back when I have been in contact with Mailgun
