      Hi, I have just created an simple discount (cheapest one reduced by 100%) with restrictions/requirements:
      – menu item “combi 1”
      – categories “baguettes” and “combis”

      The menu item works fine, this discount is activated when I select “combi 1” item, but it apply the discount to the cheapest item in cart, even if this is not in combis or baguettes category. Is this supposed to work this way?

        unless you send me a link to your items (and some sort of screenshot or something of the way the discount is set) i cannot even begin to guess or comment.

          This is what I want: Buy 1 “combi 1”, get 1 “bagette” free, if 2, 2…

          But when I add something sheapper that a baguette, the cheapest one is free, even if it is not a baguette.

            from what you tell me , it does what it is supposed to be doing
            what you want it to do ( Buy 1 “combi 1”, get 1 “bagette” free) it does not do.

            it clearly says so here:

            under limitations: “it does not”…

              I thought that discount apply only to items that belong to “menu items in cart must belong to these categories for discount to apply”.

                you are misunderstanding the two “restriction boxes”.

                they do the same thing, except that one allows you to select items, the other entire categories.

                it does not say “apply discount to following menu items” but “menu items in cart must belong to the following menu items for discount to apply”

                though i do understand that this might sound similar the meaning is of course quite different.

                if you can find a wording that makes this clearer i would be more than happy to hear it.
