thanks (will make life easier)
btw dont panic when you see an error on that test site at the moment, just going throughg some process of eliminnation…
can i get ftp access to the test site ?
>It’s on the test site
even better
i’ll have a look. lets see what i can findmind you…wptouch doesn’t even seem to be active on your site….
if you give me admin access i’ll have a look,
if your cart isn’t empty after your cleared whatever you have cleared , you didn’t clear things properly (ie you still have a previous session runnning)
in short: using your two subsites from here they work just fine and independently from each other
may also be the case that you are using your own php.ini that gets loaded
either way, which ever php.ini is in use doesnt have the timezone set
wppizza->tools->system settings
correction : wppizza->tools->system info
you will have to clear your browser cache entirely
try version 2.11.7.10
there was an issue with one of the previous version – probably the one you are using – where it didnt show up everywherethe option is called “cart per site”
in your case you want it checked (on all subsites too)>This seems to be the big road block for taking online orders.
the problem of course is , that there is no generic way to do that which would work for everybody as it involves carrier costs and therefore everyone will want/need a different sms gateway which all have their own/different APIs
i am currently doing something integrating with tm4b (tm4b.com) as they send/deliver sms from/to pretty much every country on the planet and – from what i can see – are reasonably priced (although no doubt there are cheaper ones)
>Any progress?
slowly.
having said that, do you have a gprs enabled printer i could send things to for some testing when I’m ready to do so (in a week or two I would have thought) to see how they print out ?if one gets this to work with those tm4b guys one could – probably – more easily adapt this for other gatewys using their apis as one would hope one can just change a few api calls (dont hold me to that though, as of writing i have no idea as to whether that’s actually true)
as the coding of the plugin doesn’t change regardless of whether on mobile or desktop and you only experience that error on a mobile device, my guess would be that one of your plugins (probably the one that deals with mobile things) throws an error (and it’s probably a missing or too many brackets somewhere)
turn on debug and have a look at your debug.log
you really need to learn how to use an element inspector
in chrome (others work similar), right click on an element where you need to find out what the classes/id’s are and click on inspect element , it will show you all you need to know in the console
i dont even know what menu categories where you are talking about. maybe its the title, but maybe it isn’t.
it might also be controlled by your theme.
as i have no link to your site I couldn’t even begin to guess.This reply has been marked as private.>Just had my hosting company confirming that the timezone on the server and the php.ini file is set correct.
i know this is not the newest topic, but as you just sent me (elsewhere) the login details i had a quick look there regarding the timzone.
in short: your hosting company is lying (what else is new).
there is no timezone set which will explain all of the aboveThis reply has been marked as private.>So back to FTP?
yes i’m afraid (as your server doesnt let you overwrite things the way it’s setup>Happy to provide you with a login, if it might help you solve the problem.
might be worth having a look, (wont help your ftp/update problems – you will have to overwrite files manually – but might shed some light on the updates not showing)>Does that mean I have to use the FTP upload?
not necessarily (depends on server setup)
you might be able to just go to plugins->upload(i would advise to first de-activate – NOT UNINSTALL – the plugin, upload, then re-ctivate
>Seems to be a multisite issue
dont think so, its a server issue but havent yet found the answer why it only works on about 80% of them (it’s a third party plugin integrated into the extensions/gateways that deals with licenses and update , will have to investigate a bit more there)is wppizaa->settings -> multisite only unchecked ?
